Oh, there's just something about the November air.
If there's one person you won't find moping about the arrival of the else wise most unpopular month a year, it's me. Whether the fact that my birthday only being ten days away has any influence on this, I can't say.
But somehow this month has always just been extra cosy with memories of waking up in provincial Denmark, where it would be completely dark in the mornings until I was already in school. The sun would shortly peak in through the class room windows, aaand then it would go all dark again, before I could make it home. It might sound depressing but really it was anything but with all the magnificent colours of nature packing up for winter whilst I could curl myself up at home eating left-over birthday cake and having the fire going. No, I really do love November.
On a second note - this summer, I managed to buy myself two winter coats. Emphasis on two, and emphasis on winter.. I often find myself getting lost in a messy vintage shop (the messy ones are undeniably the best and the most fun) getting all excited over winter coats, but I promise, it's never the intention! However, I had to praise my luck when I funny enough on the hottest day of London summer ended up walking away with this cashmere / angora coat (this thing has so much fabric, that it was completely impossible to hide the fact that I had a huge winter coat on the back of my bike). It completely sent me back to my retail days with the masters of the camel coats, MaxMara, trying on the various coats that all just had such amazing quality. Hot summer's day or not, when you come across something like that, you grab it - pay - and run!
HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY

Wow your legs are quite toned! I love the coat, great find! I found a similar one myself a few days ago and I'm looking forward to colder days - not really, I like heat, I'm exaggerating - just so I can wear it!

I love how in all of your pictures there's like motion, in the way that your hair is flying around or the coat or whatever. It's so amazing and they kind of give out the feeling of the outfit? I'm not sure how to explain it
ReplyDeleteThe coat is gorgeous, I've been wanting a camel coat myself so now I have no excuses.

Such a gorgeous coat, I love its dressing gown style! Nothing feels better in winter than wrapping up in something soft and cosy. I bought a cashmere wrap coat last summer in Cyprus of all places and I love it, on my blog if you want to see it : ) x
