Valentine's day is nigh, and whether you're coupled or a solo flying bird, there is nothing like celebrating love. Mind you, I am solo, single, on my own etc. but it comes to a point where you have to ask yourself: will this keep me from fiercely purchasing heart-shaped chocolates for me and "my partner"? No way! I have always said, that I'd much rather be alone with all my self-gifted, heart-shaped, rose infused chocolates and believe in that destined 'The Notebook' kind of love, than to be with the wrong person.
∴
 Now, one can still remain optimistic for the Valentine's Day to come, and as fun as being in a sugar coma surrounded by empty candy paper on my bed in sweatpants and a messy bun is, I have decided that this year I will avoid do that. Therefor, singularis or not, I shall need a dress! Or jeans.. Both styles of which I sadly only rarely sport, but the occasion has come and it's a date with destiny!

THE GETAWAY

Now, you know me, I love my jeans.. And where I normally would go for the baggy boyfriend jeans, I'm going to put aside my man-repelling style, and keep the option open for jumping into slim fit jeans, should I decide to not feel like a dress on the day. I carried through the clutch, jacket and shoes from the previous outfit, meaning it only took me a few pieces to transform the outfit. Oasis, you and your cool Valentine's Shop!
