A ROYAL DAY OFF

More than anything else lately, I have been needing a good day off. Things have been so intense and back to back, and frankly, I just needed to step away from the screen, my kryptonite, and get out into that magical air London has about it. I have been so excited working with Disney for their Cinderella movie hub, and so inspired by this, I decided to put a bit of fairytale into my day off in London.

I swung by beautiful St. Paul's with my lovely neighbour Ramon, which definitely has that royalty factor about it, and we took the trip over the Millennium Bridge to Tate Modern. Followed by this, I was pampered to bits by my friend Abi from The Apartment, where we had a great heart to heart, and as always when I'm with her: got my playlist updated.

One thing I love about the new movie coming up, is the values it stands for and the relationships in it. It is clear from the trailer, that the Cinderella characters have been explored and made more interesting since the beloved cartoon version from 1950. Kudos for really emphasising kindness. It sometimes becomes such an overlooked feature, but it is so essential to our existence. I'm on the edge of my seat, and can't wait to go to the premiere on the 19th of March, and see how they made the movie transition into the 21st century. You can expect me there in a pretty dress, hugging my popcorn tight, ruling for Cinderella and all that she stands for!
