BEST OF THE BRITISH

KEEPSAKE TOP / LEE JEANS / NEXT SHOES / PRADA SUNGLASSES / CARAVELLE WATCH / GAS BIJOUX BRACELET / WEAREARROW RING / NORDENSTAM RING

With a title like this, I don't think it takes the average world citizen's train of thought a long time to arrive at the name Burberry. For a fashion house that not only succeeds in a global classic but is the mastermind behind it too (le trench coat), there is no doubt that there's a certain place on the British throne for Burberry. That of course includes my latest obsession from their beauty department, the Fresh Glow Luminous Primer, and for my recent stay at Hotel Café Royal, I enjoyed partnering up with Regent's Street for a day in the name of beauty.

Now, I have a confession. Until this particular day, I was a pedicure virgin. I mean, someone putting nail polish on my toes, pfff! I don't need anyone to do that, and until then quite honestly just didn't want anyone to go there. This was of course until these two shiny, perfectly teal painted, soft feet from Venus were at the end of my legs. I admit defeat, and it has been clearly demonstrated to me how I obviously shouldn't be dealing with my feet myself, but just leave it to the Margaret Dabbs clinic in Liberty, sweet.

Followed by what from now on shall be referred to as "The Epifany", it was off to get a blow-dry at Dry By on Mortimer Street, and I don't know why, but there's just something about ordering your designated 'do from a menu. It's pretty brilliant, that's what it is.

  2. Love this look, especially the print and shape of your top! I'm yet to try any of the Burberry make-up porducts, but the primer sounds lovely and I've heard great things about the brow products too. The pedicure sounds great, I've never had one for the same reasons you didn't so may check out the clinic in Liberty :) x

  13. Lovely photos! We don't have a Dry Bar salon in Canada yet but they have just added their products to our Sephora stores so I am excited to try everything out and put together some hair tutorials for the Fall! Also, I dream of owning a Burberry trench…sigh, one day! xx
