THE CHRISTMAS DRESS

JUST IN TIME

I can't believe how incredibly quickly December decided to show up and here we are, already in the middle of it. I mean, did we ever truly finish off July? Didn't think so.. My lovely parents reminded me of an intention I set a year ago for 2016, something I have completely forgotten, probably in the action of realising it. I wanted to travel a lot, and so it happened, almost without me noticing it, if it hadn't been for the odd missed flight. However there is no place like London up till Christmas, and here I find myself at the end of a wonderful year (certain political events are excluded in this evaluation) dressed in more feminine elements from Wallis, for some seasonal holiday fun.

This double breasted military coat arrived just in time to take me between Christmas events, and it's made it to the spot in my closet that gets (ab)used the most. Going into January (2017, omagawsh, omagawsh!) ye' shall see me wearing it with a blue scarf hissing at London frost. Which I do secretly love, but truth is I'd be out of conversation starters if I didn't..
