BREAKFAST AT BROWNS

I am as hopeless when it comes to Spring cleaning as a chimpansee would be in politics. In today's society, we cherish self-awareness, so I have located and acknowledged this challenge in me and I have after hours at the drawing board developed a very effective approach to this problem. If you can't fix your space, make an exit route through the piles of clothes, papers and shoes and swap it over for a beautiful, preferably five-star, hotel. If the closet just so happens to be full of Matthew Williamson gowns and Jimmy Choo shoes, make a pledge and a plan to stay until Autumn at least, when the "organized mess" now counts as "hygge". This is true, I'm Danish, and a certain type of mess can be used as building blocks to create an authentic Scandinavian cave. True story. Now, to narrow ourselves a bit further in on the truth, the lovely ladies of Matthew Williamson (hello Rosanna & Anisa!) invited us for a morning of #GownGang fun at beautiful Brown's Hotel in Mayfair in London.

N ow, the British have a certain way of doing things, and this morning I underwent an impressive transformation from the furry, fuzzy self I am into the mould of the brilliant British. All thanks to the magical hands of John Corcoran from Charlotte Tilbury sorting out my sleep-deprived face and Duck & Dry for one beautiufl blow-dry (boy, do they know how to manage a hairdryer!). And although this isn't a typical 'day in the life of', they certainly set the tone for what else is to come.

  9. These pictures are a work of art & you look beautiful! The dress, the shoes, your hair & make up and the gorgeous location! I definitely wouldn't mind switching up my often cluttered bedroom for a 5-star hotel, especially if there's blog photo taking involved! Lovely post & I love the way you've laid out the pictures, very magazine editorial :-)
