I always claim that I'm a modernist, a minimalist at heart who can't help but put my hands in the paint palette and accidentally let everything go wild. In art school, I was always inspired by anything and everything, and whilst I with a lot of passion tried to uphold my minimalist vision, my most dreaded part of the process was narrowing down and killing my darlings. Impossible. Perhaps that's why I ended up dedicating myself to the photograph; a creative outlet, that lets me live out creative visions, but being in a constant relationship with the surroundings and the unpredictability and variables they bring to the final product which - you guessed it - lands on this blog after evenings of 30p instant noodle slurping, with the occasional break to contemplate on the meaning of existence*. Speaking of (oh don't we all love a good subject change, ~~uhm no~~), let me for once make a book suggestion. In one week I jumped from London to Portugal to Ibiza, and during the time I could not put this one down. The Alchymist by Paul Coelho. Oh, what a work of art (bestseller for 30 years, should have guessed it). It utterly filled my heart and my soul with its wisdom and truth telling, and taught me of travel, individuality, spirituality and most importantly love.
