I'm not going to lie, I've been stumbling around like a un-coordinated gum ball lately. I've come across toddlers with better coordination than me these days, and thus I'm left to ask for a bit of help. Whilst the 9-inch wedges I'm wearing here, seemed like a good idea to buy at the time, they were indeed just the outcome of a spur of the moment high street shopping urge. With coats however, I take my sweet time to make sure I get the right one. The hand I've been reaching out for years in December for my Christmas shopping is also a hub for designer women's jackets - the wonderful Selfridges - had me covered for this one. Being Danish, I swear by the wonders of down jackets, so amongst the candy shop of curated design, I ended up in this  part of the field. They're an incomparable source of insulation when it comes to trapping body-heat yet allowing the body to breathe unlike rain parkas, and this Moncler Jacket, has been excelling at the job. Puffer jackets can no doubt be a drowning factor, and that comes from someone with the 5th grade experience of purely being noticed as a turquoise Michelin square, but this women's puffer jacket did everything right. Main thing for me is that I don't turn into a icicle and make it through winter, and as for the style of puffer jacket you go for, I believe it's all about finding something that works for you and expresses your individuality. Personally channeling the Bond look these days and I'm feeling it. Except the boots, they can go.

    1. Thanks so much, Lydia. It's probably due to a long background of Scandinavian winters, they've become an essential for me at this time of year! I love how this jacket has that A-shape, but there are some other really great styles and colours I think you could play with to make it work :) Have a great 2019 also! Sarah x

  3. "They're an incomparable source of isolation..."
    Did you mean "insulation"?
I found a great puffer coat in white, which brightens up winter:

    1. Oh I did! Thank you for catching that, as the Danish word for insulation is isolation, it always gets me confused between the languages. Checked out the article, you found some lovely puffer jackets!
