I'm so excited to finally share my experience in Barcelona, to participate in the Mango show at the 080 Barcelona Fashion week and the launch of the Mii by Mango car from SEAT. I was too excited reliving these days while going through the photos, that my filter (which normally doesn't let more than 5 photos through to a post) hasn't left too much out - therefor I give you - one huge load of photos!
On the day of arrival, which just happened to be a beautiful sunny Barca day, I was assigned to a room on the 24th floor of W-hotel. The only reason why I mention it to you, is that it might never happen again. And now I jinxed it.
In the evening it was all about the 080 Mango show, which just blew me away. There was such an energy in the show coming from both the models and all other parts of the show, which really showed a very strong identity to the brand. I was a fan of their clothes before, but now I'm completely head over heels. The fact that the models walked down the runway with smiles and such confidence, is just what makes a good outfit go radiant, and that's the best word I can describe this show with.
Afterwards we went on to the after party, where the Mii by Mango was revealed - such a beauty! I had my fair share of the petit fours with friends Alice and James. Next day we were off to a workshop hosted by SEAT, where amongst others SEAT designer Tony Gallardo was explaining the new Mii. Although being both a design and car enthusiast, I was still surprised about the amount of thought and care put in to the design process. And who knew, that they made cars in clay before actually creating the first prototype of the car? My dad!
Whenever I'm back in Denmark (and on the right side of the road again), I always jump in my parents' car. It's like therapy for me to drive around, and I love tooting at bad guys. And as I mainly do city driving, I was really pleased with the size of the Mii. Much easier to park. And it's cute (but don't tell that to your boyfriend, when you try to convince him that it's the car to invest in ).
Hope you all have a sweet day and talk to you soon!
