GET OUT OF TOWN

TO THE COUNTRY SIDE

I love every corner of London. Literally (everyone moving to LND, take note of this word, you shall hear it a lot). But it's always a nice feeling once you're out of the city, left with just you and that funny sound SILENCE. I like picking out aha moments from magazines, and thanks to a goodie bag recently that provided me with a magazine with the name SHAPE (I know, what is that?! *chews banana bread*), I learnt that people who are exposed to traffic noise are double at risk for a larger midsection (Banana bread, you're off the hook). Something about noise raising your cortisol levels.. Now, anyone who follows my Snapchat will know that traffic sound is the unsung soundtrack of that channel, and despite fist clenching efforts shouting at red London buses U-turning outside my window, it's clear that I live in the big city with all the excitements and the noises that come with it.

Either way, whether you leave the city for a weekend to amend the mid-riff or just to chillll, there is such a pure beauty in silence, that's worth traveling for.
