NAVY OCCASION



IN OR OUT

Whilst summer weather remains a no show here in London, I for one refuse not to go for an evening out this summer. If Queen Bey is shaking it in this country drinking watermelon on a surfboard (if you didn't know, Beyoncé is in the UK, hey!), I should be able to transport myself to some summer events and bring on a bit of summer celebration. Grey clouds only offer as cheap threats when you've chosen to go for a wet-look hair-do, and paired with this classic navy dress from Wallis and strappy heels it's all lined up for a good evening. With longer sleeves for summer though, I always stay aware to go for lighter fabrics in order not to over-heat which is easily done when the music starts playing.

    I really love this dress, especially the neck closure - it's perfect paired with the lace-up heels! My mom always said to pick one feature and downplay the rest, and this look exemplifies her advice.
